If you have ever made the mistake of a barbecue by a series of outdoor cooking enthusiast, chances are you have a video! You see, there are many differences between a barbecue grill. I outline three important differences in the following text.

The first and largest of a barbecue and grill is the type of food that each unit is being prepared. Some examples of foods that would be grilled steaks, chops and chicken. You can also grilled troutor salmon, hot dogs and hamburgers. Grilled dishes, on the other side is something ribs and pulled pork. But it is not the type of food, as it is, how it is prepared, which makes for true BBQ ...

You see food is cooked on the grill longer than a typical meat barbecue. This brings us to the second difference between these two devices - the length of cooking time. You can also use the grill a steak, usually 12 minutes. Chicken may take 40 minutes or so, but it can still be run on a standardGrill. If you pulled pork barbecue right, for example, if you're going to put some 'serious in the cooking process can take up to 8 hours sometimes, depending on the size of the cut. So why not burn the meat?

Now the final difference in temperature between these two products. Grilling is usually done at high temperatures. Steaks and chops, for example, are usually baked at about 400 degrees. If you have a smoker for cooking BBQ ribs, however, the temperature is in the range of 200 degrees.

This combination of low heat and long cooking time is really the essence of Southern BBQ!
